The Ocean Vitality Forum is a networking event, and our speakers include:
Carl Gustaf Lundin, IUCN
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
To our knowledge, there is at best only modest collaboration between the multiple organisations dedicated to ocean conservation and the blue economy operating out of Switzerland. We want to reveal the potential for greater tangible impact if these organisations were to combine their forces. The aim is to bring these actors together to share knowledge, enable networking, encourage synergy building opportunities.
WHO WILL BE PARTICIPATING?
The Forum is directed for the actors (active stakeholders) operating out of Switzerland who possess expertise and capability to improve ocean vitality around the globe. Increased awareness will also result for actors, the media, and the public alike. We have identified around 60 organisations in Switzerland that are active within the sector. Attendance by invitation only.
WHAT THEMES WILL WE ADDRESS?
Who are the leading actors in the ocean conservation space?
WHO ARE WE?
Switzerland for the Oceans is a young and ambitious non-profit organisation operating out of Switzerland. We support and fundraise for initiatives combating ocean over-extraction and pollution and promoting ocean vitality, through our 100% volunteer based work.
