Zurich to Monaco Cycle Ride 17 - 26 September 2017
our SPONSORED CYCLE RIDE FROM ZURICH TO MONACO is en route.
We left Zurich on Sunday 17 September and after a 10 day ride through a variety of terrains and beautiful landscapes from landlocked Switzerland to the mountains of France we will arrive in Monaco on Tuesday 26 September 2017 (follow this link for a day-by-day ride schedule).
ABOUT THE EVENT
Zürich to Monaco is a professionally led and supported event designed for cyclists of all abilities to take part in a challenging and memorable journey whilst at the same time raising funds for three marine conservation projects in the Mediterranean Basin.
The cycle ride from Zürich to Monaco is challenging but it is also incredibly rewarding for those who will take part. You will certainly feel you have achieved something amazing, and you, with the support of your colleagues, friends, and family, will be adding to the fundraising to protect our precious oceans.
The cost of participation cover the necessary administration expenses for the event. 100% of the donations over and above the cost for the ride will be shared equally between the three marine conservation projects.
BY SUPPORTING THIS EVENT YOU ARE HELPING TO RAISE ESSENTIAL FUNDS FOR PROJECTS WITH THESE ORGANISATIONS:
Our philosophy is that we all ride "as one"
Whether you are taking part in a tour of this type for the first time as a complete novice, or if you are a regular club racer, or even if you did win Tour de France, we have an absolute rule that everyone supports one another. Yes, we have professional ride leaders who will coach and support you along the route, and we all gain efficiency and more enjoyment when we look out for one another.
Professional Event Management
As a cyclist participating for all or for part of the distance covered, you will be personally cared for by the very capable and experienced cycle touring specialist Kurt Ladner of Moosetours Switzerland, backed up by Mark Lawrence with his international operations team from Tifosi Events.
